Our casual Saturday afternoon affair will include live jazz, lunch an old school party with a DJ and opportunity drawings all while getting acquainted with some new friends under the umbrella of raising funds to benefit San Diego youth scholarships and community programs.
Our Pearl level contributor ($175) will receive an event ticket that includes an exclusive pre-party from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The ticket also includes a private jazz performance, wine tasting, art exhibit, lunch and an old school party with a DJ.
Our Ivy level contributor ($150) will receive an event ticket to include a live Jazz performance, lunch and an old school party with a DJ from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Welcome Reception for Newly Appoint Superintendent of SDUSD
We are proud to sponsor a Welcome Reception congratulating our newly appointed superintendent of the San Diego Unified School District, Dr. Lamont Jackson. We celebrate his commitment to leading a district that will provide a quality education for all students within the city of San Diego.
This event is sponsored by The Ebony Pearls Foundation of San Diego. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ® Epsilon Xi Omega Chapter.
The event will be held on the ground floor of the UC San Diego Campus @Park and Market. There are limited, free parking spaces located below the facility marked UC San Diego. Entertainment will be provided by talented, budding scholar-musicians in a Youth Jazz Quartet.
ALL guests will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated and a negative COVID test within the past 72 hours (PCR or a Home Test). Masking will be required at the venue except when eating or drinking.
The event is free for invited guests who have responded to attend. To attend, all guests must RSVP no later than July 2, 2022.

The Ebony Pearls Foundation of San Diego Inc. seeks outstanding young women between 16 -19 years old to apply for our 2021-2022 Ebony Pearls Leadership Academy Program. For more than 65-years, our premier program has provided more than1,500 young women with fun and engaging programs in African American culture and history, life skills, public speaking, college preparation, career exploration, and mentorship, all while developing lifelong friendships.
Next spring, we’ll celebrate our participants during our spectacular66th Annual Leadership Academy Ebony Pearls Presentation. Leadership Academy Escorts, young men between the ages of 16-19,are also needed and encouraged to attend the Informational Session.
